      channeldata pointer having first been stored in the global variable used

      smurf: Fix construction of OPTEFF config parameter names
      
      The change from OPTFF to OPTEFF resulted in OPTEFF being truncated to
      OPTEF, which then resulted in the optical efficiency NDFs being ignored.
