Dear Pollyanna and SEDA list members
Many thanks for posting details of the work initiated with Techdis by Roehampton under the HEAT projects. For those with email that breaks long URLs this might be easier: http://tinyurl.com/techdis-eq-as
I work for both the Techdis and the HEA Subject Centre for Bioscience.
We are always interested to hear how institutions tackle the issue of equivalence for students with disabilities. There is always a risk that work in this area in particular fails to highlight the accessibility advantages to us so please pass on any details or case studies of how assessment framework developments have improved the experience for these students. Please use my techdis email address - [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask]
You may also find a recent assessment event in the Biosciences (which includes a presentation and assessment bibliographies by Dr Chris Rust) useful

The above has more useful links (including relevant Techdis resources).
Regards,
Terry McAndrew ([log in to unmask])
