Schrodinger Fellowship in High Energy Astrophysics
The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies wishes to appoint a promising

The successful candidate will work as a member of the group of
Professors Felix Aharonian and Luke Drury, but is expected to develop an
independent research programme.
Candidates should have several years of outstanding research experience
and an excellent publication record in high-energy Astrophysics with an
emphasis on theoretical and computational modelling, especially of
relativistic outflow phenomena, the acceleration of ultra-high energy
particles, astroparticlephysics and magnetohydrodynamics. Further
information may be obtained from Prof Felix Aharonian.
These positions are intended as stepping-stones to a permanent academic
position and fellows are expected, in addition to developing an
independent research programme, to apply for research grants, mentor
graduate students, and, optionally, to do some guest lecturing in local
universities.
Applicants should submit a standard academic CV together with a research
