It's our intention to do so. That may not happen immediately, but we
intend to photograph in situ at least. A number of them have not been
shown before and have spent a secluded life in a crate or box in guy's
home or mine, whoever did the last work; so they haven't been
We had a reunion yesterday and spread everything out around a seminar
room. (It was a room so new and spotless, in the _new academic building_,
not even a litter bin, that we might have worried about leaving it grubby.
I was complacent until Guy reminded me of the event of the _flying salad_
and my hand in it, or rather not, I shall say no more.)
We made a new piece together yesterday, and I think I am pleased with it,
but won't know till next week. It's all noted and typed; and the exhibits
were on their way to Bristol.
Photos to be taken next week. I found the big one that we exhibited in
Buffalo last May very difficult to _get_ in a photo; and photos from
USAmerican friends and colleagues suggest they did too. We gave up trying
to establish how many pages there were in that piece because they begat
pages, turned into paper steps or rooves etc. So eventually you say _It's
about 7 foot long and three foot wide when open_
For foot read feet; I'm being colloquial.
I'll announce here when there is something to see. I'll talk to UWE about
it, or Guy will; but it may be easier to put it on some of our webspace.
btw there are films of the Cobbing I curated and they will be on the web
Thanks for the interest.
But, he said long-windedly, there will be a list and some sense of it.
