I have a SAR from a mother for herself and her son. SC do not want to release the son's records to the mother as they think she will provide them to the father who is in prison for child abuse, and shortly to be released. He has also involved an inmate in the equation.
I am looking for some form of wording for a letter as opposed to 'we will not supply a copy of your son's file as protection of the child is our paramount concern' - or is that ok ? is there any part of the SC Act I can quote ?
