I believe I am right in saying that the question of the copyright of
texts presented as being chanelled has been heard by a British court. I
think it was a dispute between a publisher and a "psychic" associated
with Bligh Bond, probably Marshall Jones Co. who published Hill of
Vision (1919) and John Alleyne who produced the "automatic writings"
presented in the book. I gather the court found that the scribe should
be regarded as copyright owner, even if he or she maintains that they
are not the actual author.
However, the situation may be quite different in other countries.
My best wishes
Ben
