GIS Manager (Scotland)

£22,883- £27,092 plus benefits.
Working as part of the Head Office team, you’ll manage and deliver the technical support of GIS to Forest Enterprise Scotland. With a proven track record in GIS support or in IT support, you’ll have a thorough understanding of GIS (preferably ESRI product suite), geospatial database design, data administration and Microsoft Office.
A background in forestry would be an advantage, as would knowledge of GIS uses within forestry and forestry management GIS systems. You’ll ideally have a degree in a forestry related or land management discipline and/or a postgraduate GIS qualification. Familiarity with project management techniques would be useful.
Travel within Scotland and occasionally within Great Britain is required.
