Hi Gem,
I wonder if I can call on your help again please - I'll be running a summer club in a couple of weeks - where teenagers will be able to come for the day over the course of a week, without their parents. We'll be doing heritage site visits and drama. I'm looking for examples of best practice when responsible for young people without their parents - can anyone share their policies and procedures or give me any tips for what I ought to be considering? So far we've got risk assessments, emergency contact details, photo consent... what am I missing?
Really hope you can help GEM!
