My apologies if this comes as a bit of an obvious one to members of this
list (I'm not a geographer!) but I was hoping that someone could
recommend a short reading list regarding the militarization of urban
space historically. In particular, I'm curious to read historical
studies which focus on how revolutions military organization and
strategy have impact the design of urban spaces, and vice versa.
