Teaching Fellowship in Classics (2 roles)
Part-Time & Fixed-Term for 5 months
Full-Time & Fixed-Term for 10 months
Salary: £27,428 pro rata per annum
The School of Classics is pleased to advertise a 10-month fixed-term
teaching fellowship, as well as a 5-month fixed-term part-time teaching
fellowship, in Classics. The 10-month position is available due to a
permanent employee having been awarded a Humboldt research fellowship.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Classics or nearing the final stages of
PhD. Candidates will be able to show evidence of high quality research in
their chosen specialism. Whilst specialism in Greek literature and
language is desirable, applications will be welcomed from a range of
specialisms. The successful candidates will be expected to teach primarily
within the area of Classical languages and literature.
The posts are available from the 1 September 2011 or as soon as possible
thereafter.
