Hello Werner,
for my recent study on the shells from Mogador I have adopted the
classification by Falkner (1981, 4).
Bivalvia are divided up in four sections (umbo, anterior margin,
posterior margin, lower margin), Gastropoda are divided in apex,
base, wall and spindle. The represented parts are recorded. This
offers the possibility to give MNIs.
