No, the data are not registered to any template.
I've different acquisitions: For example, one structural volume (created with an MP Rage sequence) with a relative high
resolution. But I also have some EPI images with a lower spatial resolution, 3x3x5 ... from this/these 3-dimensional
blocks, I want to choose an ellipsoid/are/ROI, which contains mainly the region of the V1... In 3DSlicer there is an modul/option
to create a 3D Boxed ROI, but as I understand, it was just for visualization, and no possibility to export the
mask to nifti.
As far I have tested mashbar, it seems partley be an option for creating 3D mask, but it is not very comfortable. I think that
using a sphere may not be a good approximation for V1. And I only can uses boxes which seems to be vertically and horizontally to the image space..
But I need some sloped boxes... A variant of http://www.slicer.org/slicerWiki/index.php/File:ROIModule.png would be nice...
Maybe I should have a closer look at 3DSlicer
