Archivist & Records Manager at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (part time maternity cover)
This major international postgraduate medical school seeks an experienced Archivist & Records Manager to manage the selection, preservation and administration of the School archives and to take responsibility for the records management service. The post holder is the chief contact point for all matters connected with the School’s responsibilities under the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts.
Applicants should have a post graduate qualification in archives management together with experience of managing staff and excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to demonstrate initiative and work as part of a small team is essential.
This is a 21 hour/week post and the precise hours of working are negotiable.
Salary will be on the School’s Professional Support Pathway Grade 6 scale in the
range £35,511 - £40,349 pro rata, per annum inclusive, plus generous holiday allowance, interest free season ticket loan and sports and social facilities.
