King's College London is advertising for a Digital Records Officer for a fixed term until July 2012 to work on Information Management Projects at King's College London. This post is funded by the Collaborative Campus Programme, a long term project portfolio designed to align all of the technological and information initiatives within ITS and Library Services with the objectives outlined in the College's 10-year Strategic Plan
The College is committed to managing its data as efficiently as possible for legal and practical reasons and these projects will bring together multi-disciplinary staff to achieve this. This post will work with team members to deliver a range of improvements to data management at King's including roll out of networked storage to academics, a monitoring service for College Storage, training and support for Data Management Staff and awareness raising for research and administrative staff .
Applicants should have a relevant qualification (e.g. Information technology, records & information management, archives studies), excellent IT and appraisal skills and an efficient and organised approach to work. Equality of opportunity is College policy.
The appointment will be made within the Grade 5 scale, currently £28,177 to £32,295 per annum, including London Allowance.
