Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Applied ArtsUniversity of Wolverhampton - School of Art and Design£31,798 - £45,336 paTo play a leading role in managing the Applied Arts degree, contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the School, the maintenance of high academic standards and the management and development of the School's portfolio of courses and the generation of external income.You should have a relevant Masters degree or equivalent, a PhD is desirable, plus a relevant track record of publication/exhibition. You will be an innovative and effective teacher at undergraduate and postgraduate levels able to meet the needs of a large and diverse student body, as well as bringing experience of curriculum development. Excellent administrative, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are also key attributes for the post. The posts call for an ambitious practicing designer willing to play a significant role
in the organisation and delivery of our Applied Arts degrees. We are looking for applicants with particular expertise in Ceramics and 3D design as well as a broad expertise in Applied Arts. You should be able to relate across fields of practice beyond ceramics to students studying glass and 3D design.
