The manager is right, this is not a diagnosis and should not be on a Fit Note. DWP state that a diagnosis must be on the Fit Note.
There are other means which allow time away from work ie. Time off for dependents, holidays, unpaid leave etc
Many don't use these alternatives as the "sick route" is often paid.
