ALISS Visit to Supreme Court Library

ALISS (Association of Librarians and Information professionals in the Social Sciences) http://www.alissnet.org.uk <http://www.alissnet.org.uk/> are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit the Supreme Court Library.

The Supreme Court is the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases . The library serves the judiciary and court officials it is not normally open to the public. It is renowned for its architecture which forms the heart of the building http://www.supremecourt.gov.uk/visiting/other_highlights.html
The visit will last approximately 1.5 hours . It will include a tour of the library and an opportunity to look behind the scenes and ask staff questions. There is also a public exhibition area.
There is no charge for ALISS Members.
