Lecturer in Comparative Literature and German
The School is seeking to appoint a lecturer in Comparative Literature
and German. The successful applicant will have a research focus on
comparative literature, Anglo-German literary and cultural transfers
and the History of Ideas, and will be expected to contribute modules at
all levels in these fields.
The post is part-time (0.7 FTE) and fixed-term, starting from September
2011 until end March 2013. Starting salary will be in the range £37,669
- £39,627 (£26,368 - £27,738 pro rata) per annum inclusive of London
Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, final salary pension
scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the
UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to
remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
