I've started using a Chrome extension called MightyText for my
personal use. Requires an Android phone but doesn't use Bluetooth or
Wifi so the phone doesn't even have to be anywhere near the computer,
just so long as its powered up. Could be a good alternative to shakey
bluetooth connections. There's another extension called BrowserText or
similar but I'm not familiar with it.
