Exciting new opportunities at the UKCCA
The UK Centre for Carnival Arts is a unique national creation centre pioneering excellent and accessible carnival creation and learning. Working with the carnival community in Luton, international artists and aspiring carnivalists from across the UK, the centre is housed in a £7.2m state of the art centre .
We have secured funding from Heritage Lottery Fund to gather an archive about the rich history of carnival and street celebrations in the East of England that is accessible and interpreted to produce inspiring local, regional and national stories for everybody to enjoy and learn from.
We are recruiting the following posts based at Luton and with our partners at Norwich, Southend on Sea and Northampton. All the posts will be on an eighteen month fixed-term contract.
Archive Project Manager – Full time, £32,960 - £35,020 – Based Central Luton
Four Learning & Outreach Officers- 18.5 hours per week, £24,7420-£25,750 pro rata Based at the following locations: Luton, Norwich, Northampton and Southend on Sea
Four Archive Coordinators- 15 hours per week, £24,720 - £25,750 pro rata - Based at the following locations: Luton, Norwich, Northampton and Southend on Sea
Web Editor – 15 hours per week, £24,720 - £25,750 pro rata Based Central Luton,
Digital Archivist -15 hours per week, £24,720 - £25,750 pro rata Based Central Luton
Technical Consultant – total contract value £15,000
