Records Manager
Fixed term for 18 months
Part time, 3 days per week
Pro rata £28,000 per annum
The National Portrait Gallery is looking for a temporary Records Manager to lead an exciting project to develop and implement new arrangements for the effective management of the Gallery’s electronic records on its shared drives. Based in the Heinz Archive & Library, the post will oversee the management of the Gallery’s semi-current and current records in all formats, with an emphasis on electronic records, in accordance with the overall records management programme. Working closely with the Gallery’s IT Department, the post will review current systems, develop a project plan for rolling out e-records management, review records held on the shared drives and elsewhere in conjunction with departments and implement a new Gallery-wide structure on the shared drives, based on the Gallery’s file plan.
