Is anyone doing anything innovative with HTML5, CSS and related Open Web
Platform standards in the context of repositories? If so, the following
call, which will fund case studies in order to share innovation and emerging
best practices, may be of interest.
In order to gain a better understanding of how HTML5, CSS, AJAX and related
Open Web Platform standards are being used to enhance the services provided
across the sector the JISC is funding case studies which describes examples
of best practices across a range of areas of relevance to the HE/FE sector.
A sum of £5,000 is available for each case study. Note that the dealing for
submissions is Monday 18 July 2011 and accepted proposals should submit the
final case study by 16 September 2011.
