UCU has a wall chart produced by its Disabled Members' Standing
Committee for Disability History Month this year.
There are probably a lot of other people who are more expert than I am
on disability history. There are the various organisations that
produced the social model.
In UK DAN (disabled or disability ? activists' network)
More recently Black Triangle campaigning against cuts and particularly
on mental health issues, disabled people against the cuts. The movement
of disabled people and others campaigning against the closure of the
Accord Centre in Glasgow.
Inclusion Scotland and its contact 100 network - drew up a manisfesto
for disabled people.
Various other groups of disabled people have also produced manifestos.

The resource pack will be freely available on the PCS website and is intended to help branches to celebrate the month. I am particularly keen to include examples of disabled people organising and empowering themselves.
