We are upgrading to version 9.1 SP6 from version 8. We are a Turnitin Building block user, and we understand from TurnitinUK that we may have to create a new sub account in Turnitin for the new version. This is to prevent user conflicts which can occur if the Blackboard users tables are not exactly the same on both systems. As a result staff will not be able to access historic Turnitin data from 9.1, and we would have to set something up on the Submit.ac.uk account instead. This is complicated further for us as we are running the system in parallel for a short period.
Has anyone else come across this issue when upgrading? Any advice?
On a related note, does anyone know how we can run a report/query showing all the course Ids for courses in Blackboard that have used the Turnitin Integration? Ideally we would like the email addresses for the academics associated with those courses as well so that we can contact the relevant users and put contingencies in place for them.
