Dear all,
I wonder if I could ask list-members for your help.
I am undertaking some freelance research for Bournemouth University into the state and future of radio archives in the UK, with advice and support from the British Library's National Sound Archive. With Kristin Skoog I am co-authoring a report, and after this is finished we will feedback on some of our findings to a planned event about radio archives at the British Library.
We are particularly interested in how how access to radio programmes might be improved and facilitated for use in research and education in the future. For example, this might include original materials donated by stations, off-air recordings, or scripts, letters or memoranda concerning broadcasters. We are interested to discover whether this kind of material may be present, for example, in the libraries of universities or in the archives of local or county record offices.
We have produced a survey for archives and institutions which hold broadcast materials, which should be quick to complete:

Please feel free to reply via e-mail in addition to, or instead of, completing the survey.
Very many thanks,
Ieuan.
