Thanks Julie, that's useful to know. I'll keep it on the 'To do' list for a later date!

Thanks again for following this up

Subject: FYI: Copyright guidance for the mashup tools

Hi all
Following on from discussions at the meeting on Monday, it appears that it is not (yet) possible to edit the help text for the mashup tool (e.g. to put in copyright guidance about using Youtube clips), because it is a building block. Apparently this is coming in SP8.
Seems to me like the mashup tools don't 'mash' very well with the rest of Blackboard generally...
As always they suggest we log it as an enhancement request.

Best,

Julie

Subject: Blackboard Client Support has updated case 869831*

The following case has been updated:

Case ID: 869831
Case Summary: Language Pack question - editing contextual help for mashup tools

Note Detail: {Hi Julie,

As we know, a displayed help text for a given Building block, in our particular case the YouTube tool, is part of the language pack of the corresponding Building Block. Editing any of these language packs is not possible via the GUI at this moment. This issue has been already addressed in this improvement request: AS-146196, and it should be resolved in SP8. If you like, you can submit an additional enhancement request http://www.blackboard.com/Contact-Us/Feedback/Suggest-Product-Enhancements/For-Learn.aspx which I would recommend because this will contribute to its faster implementation. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns and whether I can close this case. Thank you.
