We are looking for creative, experienced and friendly educators to join the Ashmolean Education Team.
We are looking for qualified teachers with a passion for making the Ashmolean collections accessible and inspiring for different audiences. Much of the work is Key Stage 1 and 2 focused but we are also interested to recruit people who can support our developing Early Years and Secondary programmes.
You will have effective group management skills and the skills, knowledge and experience to work directly with school groups - delivering a range of activities e.g. gallery tours, gallery activities, handling sessions and outreach activities. With an enthusiasm for museum learning and an understanding of learning from objects you will have the ability to work across a range of Key Stages and subject areas.
Session Leaders are paid for the hours they are commissioned to do.
Deadline for application is noon on Wed 17 Aug. For further information about these posts, please visit:http://www.ashmolean.org/about/vacancies/ and download the job advert, job description and person specification and application form.
