ADEC 34th Annual Conference
‘Being a healing presence in a hurting world’

The Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) Conference 2012 invites leaders in death education and counselling to exchange information about the psychological, clinical and educational aspects of dying and death.
This year’s theme, ‘Being a healing presence in a hurting world’, is all about how we as individuals, as ADEC members and as citizens of the world become healing agents in the lives of others and in our environment. The 34th Annual Conference will be attended by hundreds of delegates from around the globe, and by submitting a proposal; you will be contributing to what is sure to be another outstanding programme.
Submission is open now for concurrent sessions and posters, deadline is 12 August 2011. Please make sure you read all the guidance for submission as there as some changes this year. Sessions can be 30, 60 or 90 minutes long.
Notification of acceptance will be made via email no later than 30 November 2011, ADEC headquarters are unable to respond to enquiries prior to this date. ADEC is unable to accommodate specific requests to present on a particular day, you must be available to present at any time over the conference.
