The studentship lasts three years (subject to passing the transfer exam for
the PhD degree) and pays a stipend of £13950 pa with annual increases for
inflation. Home/EU fees will be paid on behalf of the student.
Candidates should have a good first degree in an engineering or a related
discipline, preferable with prior experience in applied statistics, or
mathematical optimisation, or control technology.
