Duties and Responsibilities
The Research Department houses approximately 180 staff in thirteen research groups. The principal purposes of this key post are to contribute to world class research in social science aspects of determinants of health inequalities, and to the teaching of statistical methods relevant to epidemiology and public health.
Key Requirements
This is an excellent opportunity for a social scientist with a background in health research and expertise in quantitative and statistical methods to establish themselves as a future research leader in a thriving academic setting. Applicants must have a post-graduate qualification (PhD), relevant research and teaching experience, and should demonstrate the capability of developing an independent research career.
