The project was initially a collaboration with Alan Moore, with him
contributing the book and Albarn the music. Moore dropped out because
he felt that Albarn wasn't keeping his side of the work up. His
half-written script is published in the latest Strange Attractor, I
believe. For my money, that would have been a far more interesting
project.
