Teaching Fellow in Research Methods and Statistics
Institute of Gerontology and Department of Management, King’s College London
Applications are invited for a teaching fellow appointment in research methods and statistics for the social sciences. The post holder will be largely based at Institute of Gerontology, one of the leading centres worldwide dedicated to the study of ageing and later life. The postholder will be responsible for delivering quantitative research methods and statistics teaching across all postgraduate Gerontology programmes and advanced teaching in statistics to the School-wide MRes programmes run by the Department of Management. In addition the post holder will undertake teaching-related academic responsibilities at the Institute of Gerontology, supervise MSc/MA student dissertations, and act as a personal tutor.
Applicants with academic backgrounds in demography, social epidemiology, health economics or health policy are particularly encouraged.
The appointment will be made on Grade 6, currently £33,193 to £39,185 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include an annual season ticket loan scheme and a final salary superannuation scheme.
