Based in the Northern Institute for Cancer Research (NICR) and working closely with other groups involved in leukaemia research, you will join Professors Anthony Moorman and Christine Harrison in the Leukaemia Research Cytogenetics Group (LRCG). The LRCG is a world leader in analysing the prognostic relevance of somatic genetic aberrations and holds data on more than 25,000 patients treated on national and international clinical trials of acute leukaemia. You will be involved in projects correlating genetic subgroups with demographics, clinical features and patient outcome. You will also train, supervise, advise and aid other researchers within the team, as appropriate. This is an excellent opportunity for a biostatistician with an interest in translational research.
