Hello all,
By way of introduction I work in the Google Staffing team, recruiting for
Marketing positions.
At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the
user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to
demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems - from the
everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And, we approach
marketing in a way that only Google can - breaks the rules, redefines the
medium, makes the user the protagonist, and ultimately, lets the technology
speak for itself.
We are currently seeking a Quantitative Analyst to be based in our London
Victoria office to analyse large data sets and build expert systems to
improve the performance of our advertisers. The role will report to our
global Director, Research.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in statistics or econometrics,
experience with R/Splus, Bayesian methods, and the ability to confidently
communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
You can view the role description here: Quantitative Analyst -
