This file:
http://egi-igtf.ndpf.info/distribution/egi/current/release.xml
appears to be the reference that the Nagios test uses to determine
the current release. It currently says that it's 1.40 (though
notably the date stamp in the file is tomorrow). The obvious
questions seem to be:
- Who controls that file?
- Why did they set it to 1.40 if the release isn't out yet?
- Would they kindly set it back until it is?
- If not should we have our own reference file that we control
instead?
