Subject: Law and Religion PhD students day, 23rd September 2011, Oxford Brookes University.
Dear Colleagues,
Apologies for cross-posting.
Oxford Brookes will be hosting the 3rd Annual PhD students day on behalf of LARSN (the Law and Religion Scholars Network). As in previous years, the aim of the day will be to give students working in this field in the UK and elsewhere a chance to discuss their work in a supportive environment, receive feedback on their professional communication skills, and meet other students working in the field.
Although aimed primarily at students based in law schools, it would be a pleasure to include other students working on the interaction of law and religion (for instance within Religion and Theology, or Sociology) . If this applies to you, or to one of your doctoral students, and you would like to come along, please email me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by the 20th of August. If you would wish to give a paper (of around 15-20 minutes), please let me have an indicative title (to which you will not be held, but which might help me put together a running order).
Best wishes,
Peter Edge, Oxford Brookes.
