Subject: [PSCI-COM] TV Company on the hunt for Engineers
A UK-based TV company is looking for engineers to front up a new series.
They must understand how things are built/how they work - from houses to
machinery and everything in between. So it could be a mechanical
engineer, a
structural engineer, a design engineer, a civil engineer, etc.
The presenters won't necessarily have to build/make something
themselves,
but they have to have an understanding of - and interest in - the
process.
And they have to have an engaging & charismatic personality.
So if you know any engineers who would like me to forward their details
to
the production company (it's always worth a try) please ask them to
email me
a CV and a recent photo asap to [log in to unmask]
The production company will then go through all the CVs and contact the
people who they think might have what it takes.

Keri spent five weeks working full time for the My Village site, and her
responsibilities included coordinating and training a team of other
interns.
PSCI-COM members who are also part of the London Freelance Branch are
urged
to come along this evening and hear what Keri and others involved in the
internship campaign have to say.
Time and place: 19:00 at Friends House, Euston Road, London WC1
