italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear all,
First of all I should say that I have requested and kindly received
permission from George Ferzoco to post this message.
The flat is fully furnished and centrally located in the Centro Storico,
in the S. Frediano area of Florence, in a quiet street just off the
river, some ten minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio and a further ten
minutes walk to the Biblioteca Nazionale. The flat is on a direct bus
route to both the Nazionale and the Archivio di Stato. Borgo S.
Frediano nearby has excellent local shops and there are also
supermarkets within easy reach. There are several good restaurants in
the vicinity. The flat occupies 70m2 on the second floor, with 1 double
bedroom, living room, dining room, large kitchen with washing machine;
bath and shower. There is independent gas-fired central heating. The
kitchen and living room are south-facing and very light, overlooking a
quiet, airy courtyard with a persimmon tree. TV, telephone and Wi-Fi
internet connection. The flat is available from September 2011.
