I know some schools frown on this, but you can purchase NEW zalman
monitors in the US from Ebay sites (they ship directly from Korea I
think, new in box). Shipping is free if you choose the right vendor.
The price is typical ($500ish or a bit less for the 21" monitor - I
haven't looked a few months). They work fine - I purchased 6 this way
less than 5 months ago. I received all monitors in less than 2 days -
and with free shipping (of course you pay for it in the price, no worries).
