A Postdoctoral Research Position is available in the Structural Cell Biology Laboratory of Dr. John Pascal at Thomas Jefferson University.
Current research projects focus on nucleic acid enzymes involved in genome maintenance/DNA repair, transcriptional regulation, and innate
immunity. The laboratory is located in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson
University in Center City Philadelphia, PA. The position requires a PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, or biophysics. Experience in the
following areas is necessary: molecular biology, protein purification, and biochemical/biophysical analysis of proteins. Experience with x-ray
structure determination and/or small-angle x-ray scattering methods is highly desirable. We have excellent research facilities for protein
purification and biophysical analysis, robotic crystallization screening, and x-ray data collection and processing.
