I am enjoying these, Edward. What a variety of Churches
and church-building carers. I liked the idea of one being
used as a bookshop.
I am wondering how the series would look in epub on my ipad.
Incidentally have you heard that kindle will soon be
accepting epub?
Just for fun, I tried turning the last edition of our
Writing Club newsletter which I send out online in pdf
into epub using the beta version of Calibre for PC. It
turned the whole of the first page into a graphic as a
cover. I thought I had lost the text on that page but when I
went to page 2 of the epub version the text on the first
page was there

Two grey-haired bearded men in black overcoats, polished black shoes, pacing the pavement, side by side, both smoking cigars, deep in conversation. Incredible: like something out of the 1920s. Grey-haired men with cigars, controlling the economy."
