Two PhD positions (3 years, 65%) are available at the Neuroimaging
Center (NeuroimageNord) of the University Medical Center
Hamburg-Eppendorf, Department of Systems Neuroscience (Head: Prof. Dr.
Christian Buechel) in the area of decision-making and reward processing.
The DFG-funded project will combine functional magnetic resonance
imaging, computational modelling and behavioural interventions to
examine decision-making in disorders of impulse control. The department
is situated in the beautiful city of Hamburg / Germany at the
University Medical Center and provides an excellent multi-disciplinary
and interactive neuroimaging environment with its own physics,
psychology and clinical neuroscience groups as well as a
research-dedicated 3T MRI scanner, EEG/MEG facilities and behavioural
labs. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a strong interest
in human cognitive neuroscience and a Master / Diploma in Cognitive
Science, Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science or related fields.
Strong computational skills are an advantage.
