As to your last, Stephen, that seems to be what commentators up here think, so far. It's as you say a double edged victory, but Obama has taken ownership of it, so, for all those who 'celebrate' this in the US, he has to be a hero now, doesnt he?
Blow back? Everyone seems to be preparing for it, including in Pakistan, to begin with...
