About the event
Our panellists will reflect on the global media reporting of environmental issues, in particular taking in the BP crisis, the Copenhagen and Cancun conferences. The discussion will consider the bias and censorship in reporting, the role of the media in mobilising public opinion, the relationship between the media and policy-making, lessons from the media coverage of Copenhagen and Cancun and lessons from the BP crisis and its PR failure.
