Deadline for Papers Submissions: May 18, 2011

Value Proposition:
1. All the accepted papers will be published in Springer Proceedings and
all their extended versions:
• in 5 ISI special Issues (60 papers)
• in 6 non ISI special Issues (100 papers)
2. Also all the contributors of accepted papers will be invited to
contribute to 8 edited books related to WSKS
3. All contributors will be invited to join the Editorial Boards of 5 well
established journals and 12 new ones.

About World Summit on the Knowledge Society:

The World Summit in the Knowledge Society the last years has contributed
an excellent number of research academic outcomes to the community and the
society.

Last Call for Papers
This is a last call for papers related to 10 special issues confirmed for
WSKS 2011 (ISI and non ISI journals).
Deadline for paper submission: May, 18th, 2011
Submission Length: 5-10 pages

The 4th World Summit on the Knowledge Society (WSKS 2011), is an
international attempt to promote the dialogue for the main aspects of the
Knowledge Society towards a better world for all.

This annual Summit brings together key stakeholders of the Knowledge
Society development worldwide, from Academia, Industry, Government, Policy
Makers, and active citizens to look at the impact and prospects of the
Information Technology, and the knowledge-based era it is creating, on key
facets of living, working, learning, innovating and collaborating in
today’s hyper-complex world.

The Summit provides a distinct, unique forum for cross-disciplinary
fertilization of research, favouring the dissemination of research new
scientific ideas relevant to international research agendas as the EU
(FP7), OECD or UNESCO.
Eleven general scientific pillars provide the constitutional elements of
the Summit:
* Information Technologies - Knowledge Management Systems - E-business &
Business, Organizational and Inter-organizational Information Systems for
the Knowledge Society
