Are you an statistician/econometrician with commercial knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Pricing Optimisation? Then this is the role for you!
My clients are leaders in providing financial solutions to leading finance companies throughout the UK. Financial Services experience is preferred but those without will also be considered. You should however, have a good knowledge of SAS as you will use this to perform logistic regressions and in the building of algorithms to solve business optimisation issues. It is expected that you will have a 2:1 or above in a numerical subject such as a degree in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics or indeed any other related numerical degree from a reputable university. Those with MSc or PhD would be of particular interest to my client. You should be able to perform a variety of statistical techniques such as Regression, Time Series, Segmentation, Demand Forecasting and Predictive Modelling as you will be applying these techniques on a regular basis. This is a highly competitive industry and you will need to have first-class communication skills in order to present effectively to clients as you will be senior board members.
