The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), an Executive Agency of the Department of Health, is responsible for enhancing and safeguarding the health of the public by ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe.
Working for the MHRA, the UK medicines regulator, this is a unique role at the forefront of the UK's drug safety review programme, establishing approaches to identifying risks to medicines and measuring outcomes of regulatory action and shaping the MHRA’s statistical methodologies to hypothesis strengthening and evaluation.
Applicants for this post will have a post graduate qualification with a high level of experience in statistics or epidemiology (preferably pharmacoepidemiology), an understanding of national and European regulatory procedures and proven management experience.
