+1 for the Shaw Trust - they're a great bunch.
...I remember someone there telling me that there were quite a lot of issues with AAA, and that AA was in many ways a better bet....but that's by the by, and possibly untrue....

Subject: Accessibility testing - tools and services
Hi all
It's a while since I've looked into this and feel I need to bring myself up to speed.
Can I ask what tools and services anyone uses for accessibility testing, especially any particular recommendations?
I'm thinking on two levels
- firstly any automated tools that can be run periodically (or scheduled) against a set of pages to look for broad issues (for example one suggestion I have had is http://www.powermapper.com/products/sortsite/ads/acc-accessibility-testing.htm)
- secondly, on the assumption that such tools can't be used alone to make any claims about levels achieved, and further testing services that people have used.
Any pointers to best practise, case studies, and organisational policies/procedures would also be great.
Many thanks, James
