The Art of Industry symposium from the National Coal Mining Museum for England
Held in association with Woodhorn Museum, the home of the Ashington Group

• Do you work with an industrial art collection?
• Do you use art as a tool for engaging learners in History or other curriculum subjects?
• Would you like to share your experiences with other Museum professionals?
The National Coal Mining Museum is holding a symposium at Woodhorn Museum on 24 June to celebrate the relationship between art and Britain’s industrial heritage.
We are looking for a speaker from a learning team who can share their experiences of making an industrial art collection accessible to visitors and/or who can talk about using industrial art as a tool to enrich learning in other curriculum areas.
