Hi all
I would like to create an automated procedure that could perform ONE vbm processing (fslvbm_1 ..._2 .._3) and MANY TFCE-based full randomize with different mat/con.
let's assume we have several covariate parameters to test, that cannot be inserted in a same GLM matrix, I would like to reuse the same processed structural images (GM_mod_merg_s[x]), automatically, with different mat/com
I cannot really understand the importance of the "initial GLM analysis for qualitative evaluation", contained at the end of step 3.
is it made only to decide which smoothing I have then to apply in full randomize ? so could I skip it and do the full randomize with all the smoothing available? or same of its results are needed by full randomize.
otherwise, could I create a further mat/con with just group composition, without any covariate. and use this one to select the best smoothing.
Is this decision so sensitive to possible covariates values differences?, or it should be more presumably sensitive to data quality, subject number and group composition?
thanks in advance
regards
Alberto
